I just finished God’s Battalions: The Case for the Crusades and it was an excellent work.
It presents a defense of the crusades and clashes soundly with cultural Marxism. I’m not sure whether this book is revisionist history or if it is a reaction to revisionism.
The fact is that I’m swam in this anti-western culture for so long I cannot imagine what things were like before the guiltists and depressionacs had the majority position.
In all likelihood, Stark’s presented view is the one that prevailed for the 9 centuries and then was quickly erased by the Sartes, Habermases and Adornos in the period following the second world war.
As you can imagine, Male Defender is no conformist organization. We don’t care what lizards in the university may emote. We care about truth, and that’s why I recommend The Case for the Crusades.
