First Female General for Battle!

ATTENTION! Butch would like to address you!

U.S. general Lori Robinson to become first woman to lead combatant command.

President Barack Obama will name the first woman to head a U.S. combatant command, selecting Air Force General Lori Robinson as the next head of the military’s Northern Command, Defense Secretary Ash Carter said on Friday.

The position, which is subject to Senate confirmation, is one of the most senior in the U.S. military and would make Robinson – who now leads U.S. air forces in the Pacific – the top general overseeing activities in North America.

“General Robinson, it just so happens, would also be the first ever female combatant commander,” Carter said, disclosing Obama’s plans to nominate her.

“That shows yet another thing – which is that we have, coming along now, a lot of female officers who are exceptionally strong. And Lori certainly fits into that category,” Carter said at an event hosted by Politico.

Carter also announced Army General Vincent Brooks, the commanding general of U.S. Army Pacific, would be nominated to become the next commander of U.S. Forces in South Korea.

Young men, take notice of this. Please think carefully before joining our military.

Three years after the Pentagon ordered the military services to prepare to open all ground combat jobs to women, few of them have expressed interest in a career in the infantry or other newly opened positions. As part of an experimental program, 233 women who completed Marine Corps infantry and other ground combat schools are eligible for those jobs, but none has requested a formal transfer.

Someone needs to mentor them! Break down the barriers. You Lean Out so they can Lean In. Tell them they’re great! They can do it! Not wanting to be a soldier is simply bad socialization. Now…get into the front line baby! Work their self-esteem and great warfare will follow.

Warning: John H sends this over and it’s clearly hate. Why does the weak male dare to treat her as an equal?

Girl vs Boy

Girl vs boy.It goes about as well as you think it will.

In air forces, only officers who have actually participated in air force military operational commands are promoted to leadership positions. In both the US Air Force and US Navy air forces this means you must have been a fighter pilot (not a bomber pilot and/or EW or recon). When the F-14 was around, only the F-14 pilots ever became Navy Carrier admirals. In the US Air Force, this make-or-break position is the F-15.

I know for a fact, this woman has never flown in an F-15, since I know for a fact that no woman has yet been able to handle it. The closest was one woman who sued for the government to force the Air Force to allow her to enter and train for the F-15, but she voluntarily gave up after 2 weeks in the program.

So… Where is this woman’s qualifications to serve as commander of Air Forces? She wasn’t an F-15 pilot…. And if she wasn’t a pilot at all, then she shouldn’t even be in the same building as these leaders.

Indeed it would seen she never saw combat. According to her wikipedia page, she went through ROTC and was given commands and instructor positions but nothing else.

Another reason why, IMO, you shouldn’t open officer training to non-enlisted personnel…having a CO with zero combat experience is not very good for morale…

That little video took me back. To junior high football.
A couple girls decided they wanted to join football so, of course, no problem.
I, being trained from a young age that girls are just as tough as me, got picked to go against these girls in a tackling drill. The result was very much similar to that of the video.
Both the girls quit football shortly after.

Thank you for posting this. When I first read it on the Drudge Report, I laughed out loud then I cried. Say goodbye to the world’s greatest military. Women will never be expected to perform in the same level as men. The media and the military leaders will protect them and exaggerate their skills. As a result they will always get all the accolades and the praises while the men will be still be stuck with doing all the hard, dirty, dangerous work and picking up the slack and get no recognition.

The thing is Feminists loath the fact they have to be grateful to our men for our protection and national defense. So if women can’t legitimately earn honor and distinction they have to take it from men. Once women start “fighting”, what men do on the field will be considered no big deal. Men’s sacrifice will mean nothing.

Yes, there are a new crop of women who want to get into the newly open jobs, but they want the prestige not the hard work and responsibility that comes with the job.

I LOVED the girl vs boy video. I couldn’t stop laughing. This is the thing ladies, when you want men to treat like you an equal then they will stop seeing you as a lady and no matter how much training, you will always be at the bottom of the hierarchy.
